Hello & Welcome!
IMG_2327.jpeg

Food has been one of my passions in life since my young ages and I am not just saying this to impress you all! I remember reading and collecting cookbooks in elementary school. Reading cookbooks, and studying recipes and rehearsing the steps of recipe instructions in my mind was a fun activity for me growing up and of course, practicing recipes in the kitchen as permitted by mom or when she was not home…

Life put me in different educational professional experiences throughout years. I did not have time to enjoy cooking and baking for many years. However, I kept reading cookbooks and cooking/food magazines and watched cooking programs on TV.

When I had time, I cooked traditional family recipes, and other recipes and created my own recipes, too. I wrote many of my recipes in notebooks, in Word format in my computer and lap-top for many years. One day, I realized that I had more than 100 recipes written in my computer and many more written in my mind. It was time to write a cookbook. And I did…I will write more about this later.

I don’t need to follow food recipes step by step anymore. Many years of cooking and baking experience gave me this skill I guess. I can cook and even bake without measuring anything. I am not going to be modest about thisJ)

Chopping, slicing, stirring, kneading, washing, rinsing, whisking, mixing, frying, boiling,  …. Makes me happy. Makes me feel alive. I forget about my problems, my sorrows and my worries in the kitchen.

Yes, kitchen makes me feel alive, and kitchen is my therapy.
